Wayland Baptist finished third in the men's standings for the first-ever NAIA Program of the Year competition, according to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Andrew Moczygemba recently signed to compete in cross country and track at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview. The signing took place at WBU's campus in San Antonio where Moczygemba is a student at Brackenridge High School.
