RUIDOSO, N.M. Wayland Baptist's men's and women's cross country teams ran against some strong competition at their second outing of the season here Friday, and, according to coach Brian Whitlock, there are bright spots moving forward.
Wayland Baptist's men's cross country team opens the season ranked 17th in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25, while the Pioneer women are the equivalent of tied for 34th.
