LUBBOCK Hurdler Pierre Banks finished second, as did the women's 4x800-meter relay team to lead Wayland Baptist on Friday on the first day of the Masked Rider hosted by Texas Tech University inside the Athletic Training Center.

Wayland Baptist freshman Shani Adams has been named NAIA National Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 20-26.
